- Neighbourhood selection

    • Abid and Sonia presented the background of the CDF. As part of the consideration of its three year strategic plan, the City of Ottawa took a lead on bringing the partners together and developing a collaborative coordinated model of community development to address social needs and issues. The model, with an agreed upon vision and evaluation framework will enable the City and partner agencies and organization to align and focus their efforts under a common oriented approach. The neighbourhood selection was based on the neighbourhood study by Dr Elizabeth K. and the University of Ottawa Team.

Role of the Steering committee

    • Abid outlined the basic roles of a Steering Committee (SC). The SC should also discuss on the Terms of references (ToR) at the next meeting.
